Whomever posted this lovely snippet (below) as part of the blog subtitle, I'm moving it to its own post because the subtitle has a 500-word maximum, and other people in the group want to add to it.
"Words wandering through the barren vastness that is your mind, words pestering you like the droning of mosquitoes. Fading in and out of your consciousness until you come to the slow realization that we heard you enjoy nonsense so we put some nonsense in your nonsense so you can become confused while you become confused."
Where is this from, by the way? Did you write it or find it? If you found it, who wrote it? It's very poetic. :) Especially the last bit, which cleverly blends into pop-culture in such a way as to subtly symbolize the deep blur between our inner selves (represented by the lovely prose) and the world around us (represented by the meme). In many ways, your wonderful paragraph is a delicious metaphor for the ever-present cultural divide we feel between our buzzing, mosquito-thought minds and the nonsensical confusion that is the meme-noise of everyday life. Brava! I can tell you put a lot of thought into this.
